From my understanding, souls that go to Jannah will be wiped of all seemingly "negative" and "unclean" emotions that they would have had on earth. I've also heard that these emotions will include desire and boredom. My question is, if you remove any part of a person's personality, can you certifiably say that they are the same person? Call me selfish for wanting more than just Jannah, but I worry about how it seems every flaw that makes me exactly who I am may be wiped in exchange for eternal Jannah.
