Assalam o alaikum. I've heard two different opinions on youtube (some years ago): one that you must pray qaza for each salah missed, and the other is that you must pray as much nawwafil as possible, and have faith in ALLAH's mercy.

Clearly praying qaza for every salah missed, say, for a decade, would be a very difficult task.

Does anyone have any ruling or knowledge about this problem?
