This post I’m writing is meant to ask and get perspective. It isn’t meant to diverge you from your faith and belief. I am but curious and want to see how life would be different if Quran is not being followed, or even unrevealed to people. I understand that the Quran has descriptions of the life at that time and I could use that to gain insight. From idolatry, nonbelievers unshaken by prophets, sodom and Gomorrah story, sins committed, good business practices, family, marriage, relationships, community and how it should be, etc. These topics and the times then showed me that what has happened around Middle East before and during the revelation of Quran. I was surprised to reach the epiphany just recently that what happened back the is basically happening in the modern world today. Of course not to the same scale and extent.
So to the topic - If the global Muslim population today didn’t engage in prayer, give God the importance, read Quran, study Quranic history, basically have everything in common with disbelievers, how different would our world be? I especially wonder how the middle eastern countries would look like if religion wasn’t the central core of their life, government, and motive.
I would love to hear your thoughts!
