I left this friendship (he is a non practising Muslim) because he was a horrible influence on me... drugs, drink, backbiting, missing prayers, lying, swearing and even stealing. I tried helping him to Islam a lot but he refuted any attempt. We had a lot of funny moments but alhamdulilah I had to think of myself and the negative influence a friend can have on your Iman and in the eyes of Allah
