From what I understand jinn can take various forms, including human. How often is it believed this actually happens however? Is it extremely rare, or perhaps more common? What are the chances one may have an interaction with them?

I won't go into why I'm asking this question, but if I understand correctly the jinn can take multiple forms. We can't see them in their original and correct form, but they can take the form of animals and humans and we can see them, right?

Do we have any indication how common or how rare such occurrences are? Would we know if we were interacting with a jinn, or would it not be obvious? How should one deal with a jinn if one interacted with them? What would attract a jinn to a particular person?
