I am not a Muslim, but I find theology and religion in general very interesting. I have been studying Islam for some time now, and I would like some clarification regarding the Prophets. From what I understand, all the Prophets of Islam, wether that be Moses, Jesus or Mohammad, are considered to be equal, with Muhammad being the final one. I would just like to know, if they are considered equal, why is it Muhammad who is mentioned specifically in Calls to Prayer and the Declaration of Faith? I.E. "There is no God but God and Muhammad is his messenger". Is Muhammad mention specifically becuase he is the final prophet, or is there something I am missunderstanding here.

Thanks for taking the time to clarify this for me :)
