Salaam, can someone explain the purpose of thunder and lightening. I’ve always been fascinated by it - it’s currently thundering in the UK. My friends think that it’s due to God being angry - for some reason this doesn’t sit right with me and I can’t seem to find any Quran verses / Hadiths saying the same.
