So, what's the deal with Islam and slapping people on the back of the neck? My best friend is a Pakistani muslim, and he always jokingly acts like he'll slap the back of my neck, and says that's what his mom used to do. I've also noticed in a lot of videos of middle eastern soldiers (assuming muslim) dealing with prisoners, they always slap them on the back of the neck. Is this a traditonal Islamic thing or am i just noticing coincidences?
