Disclaimer: I am not muslim, I just had a question about something I noticed
Sorry if the title is confusing, what i mean is: In islam, when a woman wears the hijab is she like supposed to be a 100% good muslim and wear it 100% perfectly?
For example, every time I see a girl wearing a turban or any variation of the hijab, the comments are always bashing her saying its not proper hijab, etc. I dont really get that, would they rather her just take it off completely?
I understand that people want to advise them and let them know, but the comments are always so harsh and demeaning.
Can a woman ever be halfway "perfect" when it comes to the hijab? Like you dont know what state her faith is at. Maybe shes a convert and just trying out the hijab for the first time and wants to make an easy transition by wearing turbans first. Or maybe she wants to wear the hijab properly but cant because her area is dangerous?
I guess what im asking is: In islam, is it better for a woman to just take the hijab off entirely if shes not going to wear it 100% properly?
