I Was Embarrassed To Watch This As a Muslim

This is the Incident in question where over the weekend at the speakers corner in London Many of Our Muslim brothers decided to act like hooligans.

Once you see that video i think its only fair to give proper context to why it happened.

There's a brother named Ahmed Ali who is a regular at speakers corner and is not a stranger to controversy at the park with issues with Muslims and Non-Muslims so it's not unfair to say that he created a reputation for himself in the last few years.

So now that you have a brief background of who this brother is let's go back to the incident at hand. Speakers corner is a place where freedom of speech is championed and if you're not thick skinned then you should stay out of engaging in any dialogue with people.

There's a guy named Jedi at the park and his agenda there is to highlight things like racism and at times promote legalising Marijuana etc you get the picture. He's someone who expresses his freedom of speech to the extreme and him and Ahmad Ali are no strangers to each other.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago Where Ahmad Ali got into a heated confrontation with some Muslim brothers and attacked one of them physically after his mother was cursed.

Jedi ( remember him ) .. got wind of this and decided to use this against Ahmed Ali and wind him up to get a reaction. He realised that his mother was the button to press and Ahmed completely lost it and started throwing punches. He tried to fight 3 men and was easily overpowered.

This prompted the reaction you saw in the first Video from this weekend where regular YouTube and speakers Corner regular Mohammed hijab and several other Muslim brothers decided to confront Jedi on a "defend our Muslim brothers honour" vibe. Its also worth pointing out that there's history with Jedi and Muslims in the park going back a few years and something like this was not an isolated incident its been brewing for a while.

Clearly Ahmed Ali was in the wrong and you should never put your hands on others and if you do then you will suffer the consequences. The Muslim brothers that chased him out the park really needed to conduct themselves in a manner that befits us as Muslims and not act like animals. you came all the way to the park to act like a bad man and achieved nothing but embarrassment for us all.
