Today I was working like normal, full time at Wendy’s making the fries, and had a guy come in wearing an American flag t shirt. Behind him was an Imam from the local mosque. The first gentleman ordered a large baconator meal with a coke. The Imam ordered a classic burger and a large order of fries. Well at this point I had been filling orders for quite some time and to be frank, I was exhausted. So in the process of bagging up the food I mixed up the orders. The Imam grabbed his bag (with a baconator) and hurried to a seat. I watched in terror as he scoffed that thing down with his fries before he was out the door. This whole thing happened in under 5 minutes. I was so conflicted internally that I decided I had to right my wrong. I called the police and told them the man with the flag shirt on had a gun and was threatening to shoot the place up. Swat team arrived shortly after and took him into custody. He’s facing life in prison for terroristic threats (that he never made). Whew. Just had to vent.
