Already hearing bad mouthing of brothers who run a mosque less than 100 miles away who are doing Eid tomorrow.
Though I disagree with local sightings (because how local should we go? What if one household sees the moon and the next house doesn't), and wish that we as muslims were united, if not by country, then at least by state so that most family members could enjoy together, we should be wary of bad mouthing others, and instead pray that our brothers and sisters trained in Fiqh figure out something that obviously is not occurring correctly.
If the Kuffar can figure out how to run governments that span territories and keep it synchronized, and if our own past Islamic empires did the same, there is no reason why our Only true holiday is split up like this
