With all due respect, here. I’m just a Muslim- neither Sunni or Shia. I’m probably, most likely Sunni, due to my regards of the companions of the Nabi (SAW).
To Shias- I’ve always wondered: why do you curse the companions of the Prophet? While he himself said in a Sahih Hadith “you are who your friends are”, it doesn’t make any sense to me as to why you’d consider the companions the way you do, as the Prophet (SAW) was probably more knowledgeable and wise than to befriend them, right?
Secondly- why do you not curse the Crusaders, Quraishis, or more predominant persecutors of Islam rather than the friends of the Prophet (SAW). Wouldn’t that make more sense? I know for a fact they deceived and killed more Muslim men than any of the companions, and beyond.
Let me iterate something here. I’m not a scholar in Shia Islam. I’ve gather what I know and am asking you guys a question, with all due and owed respect, Muslim brothers. Thanks!
