My brother-like friends mother, a woman of utmost kindness, religiosity, modesty, hospitality, noor. If you were to see her, you could see it in her face that she was a righteous woman masha Allah. An amazing mother!
Out of the blue, she was afflicted with cancer and today, she left us. I’m sure, 110%, if anyone I know were to go to Jannah, it would be her. I only knew good from her. The way she raised her kids, you’ll be amazed if you were to interact with my friend SubhanAllah! Someone to look up to, very mature, very moderate, very religious, very wise and prudent.
Me and him have a brotherly connection, we’ve prayed together like a million times. After fardh prayer, we’d start with never-ending stories of sahaba and good people and Islam. I’ve learnt so much from him. We’d go on for hours. One of us would be like, “Bud, let’s pray Sunnah, next prayers time is almost here.” “Okay, okay, one more story and we’re done”.
When I heard the news, I haven’t shed a tear for anyone’s passing and I just couldn’t hold back my tears. Not only because we lost a very beautiful soul, but because my friend, his little 11-12 year old brother. They had so many plans. So many plans. The heart grieves, but we have to accept the qadr of Allah. Those are my friends words, he exhibited pure patience when I tried to console him. I was gobsmacked. SubhanAllah!
I ask you guys to sincerely pray to our Rabb to make the questioning of grave easy, and elevate her ranks and grant her Al ferdous A’la. Please pray for my friend and his brother and his dad and his family that Allah gives them patience. I have never seen such well-knit, religious, blessed family.
