Salam!!
Hope y'all had a blessed Eid!!
Do you guys feel that theres a lack of accessible knowledge available for Muslims and in particular scholarly/sheikh resources?
When there are certain situations that require a sheikh or scholar to intervene they are almost unreachable.
Another sign of the end of times is how knowledge will be taken away and in one way I look at this - how hard it is to find credible sources and even knowledgeable sources to begin.
Knowledge will be taken away (by the death of people of knowledge), and ignorance will prevail (Sahih Bukhari, Vol 1: book 3: 80)
Another example of how inaccessible they are - it's hard to get a hold of them or acquire their help unfortunately.
People will gather for prayer, but will be unable to find an imam to lead them (Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 2: 0581)
Have you guys had similar experiences?
Alhamdulillah now I'm able and have easy access to someone of high religious authority.
I have so many questions about Allah and our purpose on this earth and I have been doing my own independent research on this - I find that some of my findings are inadequate (sometimes not credible or require additional explanation as it's not easy to interpret) . Do you guys have any good books that can broaden my understanding of Islam or Allah?
I have blindly followed my faith for a long time and I am experiencing this disconnect - I feel like I'd have a more solid foundation if I had the answers to my questions. (do any of you feel this way and how'd you deal with this feeling?)
Thanks!!
