For context:

This is the story in which two women claim birth to a child; King Solomon proposes cutting the child in half.

One woman agrees which leads Solomon to conclude she is NOT the mother.

The other refuses to let this happen and begs that the child be placed with the other woman, so that the child will live. This leads Solomon to judge that she is the true mother.
