As-salamu alaykum. Ive read that it is compulsory for a man to pray the five daily prayers at the masjid. I live a bit over 1 km from the mosque and it takes me about 15 mins to walk there. Is it mandatory for me to attend every prayer at the masjid? Is there a difference of opinion amongst the schools of thought? Are my prayers at home still valid?
