As-salamu alaykum. My husband and I drive two hours to get to the nearest mosque. We want to open a place for prayer in our city because there are several families who congregate in a hotel room for prayer. I plan on calling city hall/the mayor for more advice but I wanted to ask here if anyone has any advice or tips on how or where to start.
