Hi, I'm not a Muslim, but wanted to know if Muslims really believe:

  1. Muhammad cut the moon in half with a sword

  2. Believers will get 72 virgins upon entering paradise

Are these things believed by the majority of Muslims, or are they strawman that non-believers accuse Muslims of, but that the majority of Muslims don't really believe?
