Can anyone explain what happens to the Muslim Refugees that come to the US ?

excuse my ignorance.

I remember a few years back when a few Muslim Syrian refugees were supposed to come to our US city, I was told that there were a number of Christian organizations or churches that were going to receive them.

I looked up these organizations and was impressed by how organized they were, in terms of setting up homes and training etc.

I will say I do find it worrisome bc obviously there will be some evangelizing going on.

Is there any reason why Muslims in the US cant receive or care for them as much? Is it more of a government restriction on who can take them or is there a lack of Muslim organizations that can help?
