I heard from someone it's very common for Muslims to be lazy and cheap about islamic knowledge like teaching only basic stuff in islamic schools, expecting knowledge to be delivered and packaged in an entertaining way, expecting classes to be free, and searching for free islamic books, etc. What are your thoughts on this? Is this actually an issue?
Also is it worth buying islamic books? Am I misguided in telling people off (gently) for searching or sharing pdf's and that they should buy the books?
