Im very serious on what im about to tell you, it might seem a little complicated, but please hang in there.
First off, selamun Aleykum to you all.
There is a twitter meme going around right now, which is basically a screenshot of a chat history, where someone asks someone else for something, the other guy declines, and the guy asking replies with „your baby will be cursed with a demon spirit inside it. You will regret living your life this way and will never find peace“ in some foreign language, he follows that sentence up by sending a picture of a demon. the thing he asked for was something like those electric cigarettes. I know this sounds very ironic but hang in there please (also this is the meme I’m talking about: https://twitter.com/gusyar_/status/1141888099087257601?s=21 ) I found this quit amusing, as everyone did under that post. I continued, to send that quote as well as that picture to a Muslim friend of mine, to freak him out, as a joke of course, I had no other intention. My question is, am I still Muslim? As we all know, communicating with djinns/demons is a sentence to hell and an automatic kick out of our holy religion. I know what to do, to communicate with djinns, but inshallah I will never do something like that. This isn’t the way, you communicate with demons in our religions, yet I’m wondering, if this counts as an communication attempt, because if it does, I’m clearly not Muslim anymore, which I’m very afraid of.
