Yesterday I posted a question in regards to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his activities in Mount Hira prior to him receiving his first revelation. Someone kindly linked me to a video of Seerah where Dr. Yasir Qadhi mentioned some details about this, such as the fact that the Prophet (peace be upon him) had been secluding himself for some time. I however, still question the details of his activities. When they say he was reflecting, was he making dua to Allah? Was he just sitting in there silently with no thoughts, sort of like meditating? Was he prostrating? Was he sitting with his legs crossed, Indian-style? What exactly was he trying to accomplish? If there any specifics about his time in the cave and his activities more than just "seclusion" and "reflection," I'd really appreciate it.
