This might be an annoying question but i want to see the opinion of an actual muslim woman towards this, how do you feel about the burka? Do you feel oppressed as a muslim? I am not muslim but i have never beleaved the burka or even the hijab was a simbol of opression unlike so many people i encounter saying "oh i feel bad for muslim women, they are opressed by their religion" from what i know, its a choice to wear the burka i think except for a time in the middle east i think. I always thought wearing hijab or niqab or any other type of head covering was the equivalent of a christian wearing a cross or a jewish person wearing a necklace of the star of david, Also for modesty of course but could any muslim women please educate me so next time a person saying women in islam are opressed i have some real insight from a REAL muslim and maybe educate other people.
