Currently doing a job in a mosque, the whole thing is being rebuilt, there currently isn’t even a roof over most of it.
A lot of people who work in construction tend to eat haraam meat such as bacon, and I people on this job have been hiding from the clients (Muslims) not wanting to offend them. I thought that might be a bit silly, something akin to not drinking alcohol in front of someone who is teetotal, or not drinking coffee in front of a Mormon.
It never occurred to me that they might take offence since we are in a place of worship that strictly prohibits eating pork among other foods. Do you think they would be offended or does it just come down to the individual as with many other things?
