I’m a young adult who is still fully supported financially by my parents as I’m not working at all. I do get weekly allowance from my parents.
My question is, can my parents pay the zakat fitr on my behalf or do I have to pay from the allowance that my parents gave? If I have to pay from the allowance that my parents gave, can I ask my parents to send me the money specifically for the zakat fitr or ask them to replace the money that I took from my weekly allowance for the zakat fitr?
