My Experience with NYX Lid Lingerie Matte Power Trip:

Let’s start with the packaging of the product. NYX Lid Lingerie Matte Power Trip comes in a long and thick cylindrical transparent plastic tube. The tube closes with a black colored screw on type cap. There is a regular doe foot applicator attached to this cap. The body bears the necessary product-related information printed on it in black fonts. The clear tube helps to spot the shade easily from makeup stash. The shade name is also printed at the side of the tube. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.

NYX Lid Lingerie Matte Power Trip is a dusty grey/ash kind of a color. The color is ashy and does not look flattering when used alone. It is good for pairing with other deeper color eye shadows. It works well with deep cool toned eye shadows. It has a perfect matte finish. It does not contain any kind of sheen or shimmers. The formula is decently pigmented. One swipe gives intense color and opaque finish. It does not require any layering.

The texture of the eye tint is thick, creamy and buttery smooth. It almost feels mousse-like. It is lightweight and spreads easily. It is so easy to blend and it takes time to set giving me enough time to blend it properly. It does not budge at all once it sets. It is transfer-proof but it is not waterproof and comes off easily with water. It sets to a nice matte finish. Rubbing the eye smudges the eye shadow. It feels slightly drying so prepping the eyes well is important for a smooth finish.

It easily lasts for 7-8 hours on my eyes without any fading. It does not get patchy. It can be easily taken off with any eye makeup remover or micellar water. Overall, I am happy with the quality of the product.
