Hello, i'm a non-religious person in western Europe. I absolutely love the hijab. I have some people in my class at school who are muslims and i think their hijabs are very beautiful. I became interested in what it would look like on me, so i tried it at home. It gave me a really positive feeling and it just felt really good to wear it. I like it so much that i maybe want to wear it in my daily life. However, i'm scared to be judged or misinterpreted, i also don't feel confident enough to actually start wearing it (except for when i'm alone in my room). Since i'm not religious i wouldn't wear it to make a religious statement, just because it feels good and makes me happy. Would it be disrespectful of me to wear a hijab?
