I of course go for the reward but when the Imam gives a Khutba for 50 minutes in Arabic and then gets another imam to do a cheap knock off EU translation what he said and he barely knows the language too. it feels like i am wasting my time just listening to that. Everything they say i have heard before, from different lectures i watch online. This is so annoying to me. I can listen to Qur’an for hours but not khutbas i don’t understand.
I was thinking. Is it allowed if i put on my headphones and listen to a Nouman Ali Khan khutba instead of our main imam?
