So we all know how being homosexual is a grave sin and almost can’t be forgiven for. And we all know the story of Prophet Lot, and his people, how Allah endured his wrath on the gays.
So the thing is that my school has a gay minority, it’s small but it’s still there. And my mom, who’s very religious and listens to many Sheikhs on YouTube, she tells me to never respect or even help a gay person, and that we should never be sympathetic for them or anything. If anything, even spit on them. Is this true? How should Muslims treat gays? Should we treat them like no other brother and sister, or what?
