Hi,
I'll be brief haha. I was raised in a family that didn't think about religion. Not atheist -- just apathetic to the idea. As I grew up, I became an atheist. As I got older still, I came to the idea that it was arrogant to 100% say there was no god -- so since then I've been on the fence, but ultimately decided it was irrelevant to my day-to-day lifie as I can't know which religion is correct.
However, the past couple of years, I've had more doubts. I've been trying to find religion, and have been drawn to Islam. However, I don't know if this is because the actual religion is something I believe in, or just because I want the community (compared to other religious communities, both online and in my local area, it just seems so welcoming). I don't know how to figure out what I want -- belief in Allah or community.
I'm just wondering if anyone has had a similar conundrum and can help me out by sharing their experiences :)
