I thought it'd be nice if we could all help motivate each other get ready for Ramadan, inshAllah. Everyone is on a different spiritual journey, but I think it would be beneficial to inspire each other and hold each other accountable.
I'll get things started - here's my personal plan.
- Week of 4/1
- Tea: 2 cups regular + 2 cups decaf
- Food: regular
- Quran: 2 pages at night
- Prayer: regular
- Fajr: regular
- Week of 4/8
- Tea: 1 cup regular + 2 cups decaf
- Food: regular
- Quran: 2 pages at night
- Prayer: regular
- Fajr: within 0:45 of start
- Week of 4/15
- Tea: 2 cups decaf
- Food: regular
- Quran: 2 pages at Fajr
- Prayer: within 1:30 of start
- Fajr: within 0:30 of start
- Week of 4/22
- Tea: 1 cups decaf
- Food: no daytime snacking
- Quran: 4 pages at Fajr
- Prayer: within 1:00 of start
- Fajr: within 0:15
- Week of 4/29
- Tea: None
- Food: no daytime snacking + fast Tu/Thu?
- Quran: 4 pages at Fajr
- Prayer: within 0:30 of start
- Fajr: at time
- Week of 5/6 - START RAMADAN
