I thought it'd be nice if we could all help motivate each other get ready for Ramadan, inshAllah. Everyone is on a different spiritual journey, but I think it would be beneficial to inspire each other and hold each other accountable.

I'll get things started - here's my personal plan.

  1. Week of 4/1
    1. Tea: 2 cups regular + 2 cups decaf
    2. Food: regular
    3. Quran: 2 pages at night
    4. Prayer: regular
    5. Fajr: regular
  2. Week of 4/8
    1. Tea: 1 cup regular + 2 cups decaf
    2. Food: regular
    3. Quran: 2 pages at night
    4. Prayer: regular
    5. Fajr: within 0:45 of start
  3. Week of 4/15
    1. Tea: 2 cups decaf
    2. Food: regular
    3. Quran: 2 pages at Fajr
    4. Prayer: within 1:30 of start
    5. Fajr: within 0:30 of start
  4. Week of 4/22
    1. Tea: 1 cups decaf
    2. Food: no daytime snacking
    3. Quran: 4 pages at Fajr
    4. Prayer: within 1:00 of start
    5. Fajr: within 0:15
  5. Week of 4/29
    1. Tea: None
    2. Food: no daytime snacking + fast Tu/Thu?
    3. Quran: 4 pages at Fajr
    4. Prayer: within 0:30 of start
    5. Fajr: at time
  6. Week of 5/6 - START RAMADAN
