That’s pretty much it! We’re both close friends and would never let religion destroy our bond, despite our differences. But yeah, we both discussed doing this, and we finally made it happen! I feel kinda bad, though, because he gave me a plastic wrapped hard copy of the Quran, and I gave him my somewhat faded, paperback and notated copy of the Bible. He accepted it, nonetheless, and I’m eager to see what our experiment will lead to.
I plan on reading it, of course, but the details are where you guys come in; if any of you have some suggestions for where I should look, what I should do, or if any of you guys have some questions, I’d be glad to answer them or listen! And by the way, this is also posted in r/Christianity, if you’re interested in seeing their thoughts on this too.
