“And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?”
(Quran 55:22)
The lord of all the worlds is calling out to us, saying, hey, my servants, listen, I have made Quran easy for you to memorize, will you memorize it? He is giving us soo much value when He doesn’t need to. The heavens squeak because of the amount of angels prostrating to their Rabb, but Allah cares so much about us. He values us so much. And this verse just hit me so hard. How disappointed He must be in us. I mean how much of the glorious Quran have we really memorized?! And sometimes, it just hits me, that Quran is LITERALLY the word of God, I almost can’t believe that Allah, the supreme being, like He’s soo great, I find myself at a loss of words to describe His highness, He would reache out to us? To us flawed humans? Allah is indeed the most loving! SubhanAllah I’m just stumped, man!
Ramadan is coming, folks, the month of the Quran, let us memorize the words of our Rabb. I swear if we take only one hour out and try to memorize, by the end of Ramadan, we will have memorized surahs like Yaseen, Arrahman, Waqiah, Muzzammil, Mulk. Insha Allah, people, let’s do it!
