If I give a poor person some bread only to enter jannah and so Allah forgives me, then am I really a good person?
I don’t really believe we do anyhting for the sake of Allah. When you pray, you do it so you don’t go to jahanam. When we fast, we don’t do it for allah, we do it for ourselves. So is it fair for a muslim to call themselves good?
How is it different from someone taking videos of themselves helping poor people just to become famous?
Not trying to fight, I’m just wondering if doing good deeds for selfish reasons counts as being good.
