Hey there, friends. I’m seventeen years old, and I’ve been going to Christian schools my entire life. Before anyone says anything, I live in a city with no Muslim schools and in which every private school practices Christianity. My parents decided that they wanted to provide me with a good education, and I’m grateful for that.
The only thing is that I’ve been educated on Christianity for so long, and my mom never was able to teach me about Islam extensively. (Don’t hate on her for that.) While I don’t agree with Christianity or Judaism, it’s nice to know why I don’t agree with them. I love learning about religions, and I need to become educated on Islam. I want to know the faith really well, however, before fully claiming my spot as a practicing Muslim.
I just don’t know where to start.
I purchased a Quran online with both English and Arabic script, but I like to use other sources to supplement my reading. Not that I have started to read anyway. (I need to, I know :/)
I just feel lost. Please help me with where/how to start. Thank you 💜.
