So i met someone special to me. I care about this person a lot. I grew up Christian, while i believe in God, my faith with Christianity is at an end due to internal conflict in me. I have given up the faith Christianity but not my faith in God. Recently my friend that I care about introduced me to Islam. For most of my life I have known about Islam and have come to understand the last few month researching of Allah's teachings and his prophet Muhammad. I have found peace knowing the family relationships that are Islamic. Muslims are peaceful, family oreinted, communitu driven and very caring and giving people. More so than I have seen in the 25 years i practiced Christianity. This friend that I care about I am interested in dating, she is Muslim, however keeping to her faith, she will not date me as I am not Islamic among other reasons. The reason I share this information is because I want to be honest about how I started my journey to study Islam because I am doing this for myself and for a relationship with Allah.
If you have any advice for a Christian converting to Islam please tell me or DM me. I have a lot of learning to do and I am prepared to make this transition for the rest of my life.
