Assalamu Aleikum dear brothers and sisters!
I have a question that I need help with.
In my country, there is an ongoing racial tension that has erupted due to recent bombings. And one.. rumour that has floated up is that suicide bombers do what they do to gain 72 Virgins in heaven. Now I know that people who commit suicide do not get to enter paradise at all.
So my question is, is there anything related to 72 virgins in paradise in the Quran that I should know before I start correcting my friends about it? Or is it just a made up rumour?
