Follow-up of my previous post, where most people said that withdrawing kids from a school because they teach them about LGBTQ people, is the right thing to do; and "Allah should reward them".
"No Outsiders" programme in the UK was introduced so that kids would know about families with two dads and two moms so that they would grow up being tolerant to them; but apparently teaching this in school goes against the religious beliefs of Muslims (as well as of Christians and Jews).
So I was curious about how as Muslims you'd deal with families of gay couples.
- How would you tell your children that one of their classmates has gay parents?
- Would you let your children play or hang out with the kids of the gay couple?
- Would they be invited in social gatherings like birthday parties and picnics?
