What did women and muslim women wear at the time of the prophet?

on March 26, 2019 Islam, islamic information, islamic stories,

I know the men wore robes and turbans. Were womans clothes basically the same thing, and with muslim women just a hijab instead of a turban?

Are muslim women Islamically allowed to wear pants and a shirt? Obviously loose and covering all required parts.
