Disclaimer: there may be some incorrect statements here, as I am speaking to the best of my knowledge. However, I had the following questions on faith.

  • The evidence for the existence of Moses has been highly sought after, but nothing exists to this date. Egyptian records never recorded a mass exodus nor have there been any remnants of the travellers or their belongings.

  • Noah: Extinction of all species except those on the raft could no way give rise to unique species that exist in Australia and New Zealand in such a short time. What exists now is the product of millions of years of evolution.

  • Does the truth of someone's faith be largely due to the geography of their upbringing? Hindus will confidently believe their faith to be true, as go for Jews and Muslims. At the moment, rates at which people convert to a faith are negligible compared to birth rates in those countries. Thousands of God's have existed and exist. What makes Abrahamic ones any different?

  • A convincing argument against the existence of a God is rooted in philosophical and biological understandings. If God is so great and powerful, can he create a rock that is too heavy for himself to lift? Same as to his presence. Chemicals that power the world, from the weather to the hydrogen atoms in our body, does God maintain presence there?

  • Furthermore, I think God cannot exist due to biology. We are not meant to change God's creation through surgeries, etc. So what is the point of a God giving people congenital deformities such as cleft lip, asymmetrical faces and babies born without the ability to see or hear. People develop mental health issues due to being severely unhappy with their assigned sex, shape of nose etc.

  • Abrahamic faiths reject evolution through natural selection, but the evidence is greater for biological reasoning. The human plantaris muscle which is assumed to be when we were tree climbers was in use, but to my knowledge, has now disappeared from 8-12% of the population.

  • If we consider time, humans have existed for nearly 300,000 years. I couldn't find a firm answer, but say if Abraham existed 1500BCE, that means Mohammed the last of the Abrahams came in at 571CE, which is 2071 years later, with his death 2132 years after Abraham. That is nearly 1,400 years by now, and still no word from God or anything. Abrahamic faiths say the return of Jesus occurs during a time of turmoil and strife. However, this is the most peaceful era in human history, combined to all the rest. The last major disruption in human history where we could see this as viable would be WWII. Murder is decreasing as time passes as well.

From this, it seems as if God is a beautiful lie, whereas selection pressures resulting in genetic lotteries among humans is a painful reality. How would one address these concerns? Hadiths considering the holes in the Meccan mountains, Arabs competing in skyscraper height, clock tower looming Mecca are all man made. Anyone with enough money like the Arabs can do this. Same goes for all the Christian prophecies. Trump and the Jerusalem move is man made, something desired by his evangelical voters, who overwhelmingly voted him into power.
