Asalaam alaikum,
Here is a question. Say I live in California. Do I pray south east to the Kabaah, or south west. You are facing the Kabaah both ways. Which way do I pray?
I assume it's the closest way, but are there other rules to consider? What if both ways are roughly equidistant?
