Do you have to perform ghusl if you make out with a girl? Or is wudu enough for you to have valid prayers?

If you join fajr after the first rukoo, you make takbir and join the jamah in whatever position they are in. On the second rekat, you do not say etahiyat,allahume sali, rabena atina, etc. you wait for the imam to give salam and you go back up and complete another rekat(this will be your second one) with a sura after the fatiha. then you proceed accordingly, etahiyat, allahume sali, allahume barek, rabena atina, salam
Now what about zhuhr?
Say you miss the first rukoo, you join the jamah, on the second rekat, do you say etahiyat? It just seems like everything will be out of order. Same for asr, maghrib, and isha. I just don't understand how to join a prayer for those, which has caused me to start praying farz by myself even though there is a jamah infront of me which I'm sure is the wrong thing to do. Someone please help. I asked my imam but his english is not too good, I wasn't able to understand completely
