I exposed a major sin I did in the past to some friends, which was not practicing Islam.
For one of my friends, I told him this because I just wanted to talk to someone about it and for the other, I told him this so I could convince him that he could start practicing again as well.
Is exposing this part of my life a sin? If so, is it a major sin or a minor sin and what can I do in repentance?
