Salamalaikum r/islam
I found what seems to be a taweez hanging off a branch outside out house. I have seen online how taweez are used in this manner for black magic and are either hung or buried around the victims house.
I wanted to know how to go about this, is it safe untie it and open it up (and if so, which verses of Quran I should pray). I am unsure as I don’t want this to harm myself or the person who is affected by this.
