So my mother has been sick for some time, and i asked her to go to the doctor or at least buy meds at the store but she refused, saying that "Modern medicine doesn't work" and believing that only ruqyah and cupping will cure her "as proposed by Islam". I'm a Muslim myself, but i think this will only goes nowhere, because we know that cupping is pseudoscience and ruqyah, as i believe only worked on getting rid of djinns and the like. So how do i convince her to go to the doctor or take meds? I'm afraid that her health will only deteriorate if this goes on
