A cow has to be cut from ear to ear to be halal. I always wondered why we aren't allowed to use electricity to make cows a bit sleepy, dizzy, and then slaughter it. We all know in that time they didn't have electricity. But I'm curious if you guys have some hadiths or Qu'ran text about this issue.
