I am by no means defending the use of masturbation. I acknowledge it's sin and I just want to understand the 'logic' behind it's prohibition. I asked a scholar about what verses prohibit such acts to oneself. These are the verses from the Holy Qur'an which prohibits the idea of masturbation according to the ulama:

Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, the obedient men and obedient women, the truthful men and truthful women, the patient men and patient women, the humble men and humble women, the charitable men and charitable women, the fasting men and fasting women, the men who guard their private parts and the women who do so, and the men who remember Allah often and the women who do so - for them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward.

Quran 33:35

And they who guard their private parts, except with their wives or those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession, for then they are free from blame, But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors -

Quran 5-7

I can understand 'guarding' your private parts from other people, but how can one guard ones private part with 'oneself'? I feel that I'm missing something with the way the word 'guarding' is used. Like the etymology used possibly or the context of the word used in Arabic translated as 'guarding'?

Now for my next question, are there any books or articles detailing of what entails romantic and sexual attraction in Islam? You see, I feel that I have no sexual attraction, and limited romantic attraction:

And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.

Quran 24:31

If you heard of asexual and aromatic communities, these are basically people that have no sexual attraction or romantic attraction. I feel that I associate myself with such feelings, basically not feeling sexual attraction to any gender. What does Islam have to say for such people? I would love to read any articles or books pertaining to this topic in Islam.
