A question about impermanence

Hi friends.

Let me start by saying that I’m not a Muslim. Although middle eastern by descent, I grew up as a Roman Catholic, so my knowledge of the Qur’an is very limited.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the claim that many religions make that nothing earthly can fully satisfy man. You can find this claim repeated in the Hebrew Bible (the books of Isaiah and Psalms), in the Christian Bible (the gospels of Matthew and John), and as the first noble truth in Buddhism.

Is there something similar to this idea in the Qur’an? That only in Allah is true satisfaction, peace, rest, etc?
