I don't want any esoteric definitions. The Soul isn't some abstract entity, it isn't some movie special effect. The Soul has been the basis of how we've understood ourselves for thousands of years. There has to be something more relateable about it than our current popular image and understanding. If the Soul is one's essential self then how else can we express that? There needs to be some consensus about this. People are rapidly losing touch with reality.
